The Railway Stn is now a museum

Mighty Hercules!!!!!

On 28 May we visited Snoqualmie downtown Railway Station which now operates a train for Tourist. The railway was established in 1890 to mainly carry lumber from forest. Here is a massive trunk of about 15 feet dia on a trolly.

This is the first Starbuck Coffee store in the world. It is also located in the famous Pike Market

Pike or Public Market along the horbour is like usual machali bazaar of India. It also sells all kind of stuff on open stalls. The market opened in 1907 and since then all efforts to replace it with modern mall has been successfully repelled.

Space Needle is 605 feet high. It was built in 1961 at a cost of $4.5 million. In comaprison Eiffel Tower is 1052 feet high, including its TV antenna on top.

May 27. We went to downtown seafront. This picture is taken at Pier 56 before boarding Argosy boat for a short cruise. Vineet and Shalini came from Detroit for the weekend.
